Near Río Gallegos

Around Río Gallegos, and especially heading south on Ruta Nacional 3, travelers can stop to enjoy more of Patagonia's beauty. There are shipwrecks to explore, beaches to comb and lighthouses to climb for a breathtaking view of the South Atlantic Ocean. Fishing is excellent in the area's streams and sea. After visiting the wildlife at Reserva Provincial Cabo Vírgenes, journeyers can stop office at Estancia Dinero for tea or a night's rest. To recharge the spiritual batteries, the place to go is Laguna Azul.
