Estancia Monte Dinero - Other Activity Río Gallegos - Argentina

This sheep ranch was originally founded by Irishman Greenshyls and his wife, Emma McMunn, who called it the Luckacho Sheep Farming Company. After Greenshyls’ death, Emma married Dr. Arthur Fenton and it became Estancia Monte Dinero. From October to April, the Fenton family opens the gates of its 26,000-hectare sheep ranch to weary and hungry travelers. They run a lodge and the Al Fin y al Cabo teahouse. You can also come for the day, to learn about sheep shearing and other ranch chores, stroll through the family’s museum, and visit the Reserva Provincial Cabo Vírgenes and its lighthouse.
