Few take travelers out to local sites like Reserva Provincial Cabo Vírgenes, Punta Loyola, Parque Nacional Monte León or the many estancias now dedicated to agro-tourism. The few tour operators that have excursions to these places or fishing trips on their agendas offer them only from December to April. Once colored leaves begin swirling in the autumn winds, many of these attractions are closed until spring.
