Dining in Sarmiento is, like all the rest of the town’s services, quite limited. Only a few of the hotels have their own restaurants. Most restaurants open late, after 9 p.m., for the evening meal. Travelers wanting to fend for themselves will find several locally owned supermarkets along San MartÃn. There are also many verdulerÃas, or produce shops, where fresh fruits and vegetables can be picked up. The national chain La Anónima has a market here, too (España and Alberdi).
