Welsh poets and musicians aren’t the only ones to hit the boards in Trelew. The town has scads of places where you can catch a concert, movie or play by national and international artists. The main tourism office on Plaza Independencia posts upcoming cultural events.

  • Cine Coliseo (Belgrano 375, Tel.: 42-5300) – Hollywood and other movies; not handicap accessible

Getting There

All venues are located downtown, except Centro Cultural por la Memoria (city bus Línea 3 to Ortega and Avellanada, then walk 200 meters north).

Travel Skills: beginner/easy.

Visit the other museums in Trelew, or take in a show. Daytrip out to Gaiman and Dolavon for more Welsh culture. Visit the penguins at Punta Tombo and the Commerson’s dolphins at Playa Unión.
