Getting to and Away
There are flights from Buenos Aires, El Calafate, and Ushuaia to Trelew’s airport, Aeropuerto Internacional Marcos A. Zar, located 5 kilometers northeast of the center of town. Car rental agencies Avis and Localiza have desks at the airport, and a taxi into Trelew from the airport will set you back about $3-3.50. The Terminal de Omnibus is six blocks northeast of Plaza Independencía.
