Getting to and away from Gobernador Gregores

From the west, Gobernador Gregores is accessed by Ruta Provincial (RP) 29 and RP 27 off Ruta Nacional (RN) 40; however, RN 40 is presently being rerouted through Gobernador Gregores. From RN 3 on the Atlantic coast, two highways come to this city: RP 25 from San Julián (partially paved, 209 km / 130 mi) and RP 27 (gravel) to RP 286 east (partially paved, many cattle guards) to Piedra Buena (210 km / 131 mi). Rains or snows can temporary close the road at any time of the year. Gobernadores Gregores has gas stations, tire repair and mechanics.

Gobernador Gregores has no central bus terminal. Each company has its own office from which their buses leave. Buy tickets one to two days in advance. All services head to towns along Ruta Nacional 3. Presently none connect Gobernador Gregores with Ruta Nacional 40.
