America del Sur Hostel

The first thing you’ll notice about Hostal America del Sur is the mountain of hiking boots piled at the door. Yes, this place has a shoes-off policy, but not to worry, the heated floors will keep your feet toasty warm. The hostel, which is a seven-minute walk from Downtown, is a welcoming place for tired trekkers to relax. This place has comfortable, lofty common areas and windows a-plenty, ensuring magnificent views of nearby Lake Argentino. Dorms bed up to four people and come with private bathrooms and lockers. Double rooms are also available, and have their own private bath. Breakfast is included in the price, and there is a large kitchen for guests to use, as well as a laundry room. The friendly multi-lingual staff can assist in arranging tours.

A 7 minute walk from the bus station. Take a taxi and the hostel will pay the fare when you arrive. From the airport, take a bus and it will leave you at the hostel.

Home away from home

This place is fantastic! The cleanest hostel I've stayed at yet! The staff is super cool, honest and friendly, especially Maria, Ivan, and Martin. They made me feel like family.  I miss them.
