La Vaca Atada

The two cut-out cows standing outside La Vaca Atada (The Tied Cow) serve as a landmark in El Calafate, and make this smallish restaurant hard to miss. Popular with both visitors and locals, La Vaca Atada serves up a variety of quality dishes, including homemade pasta, soup, fish, steak, and lamb. The hearty rabbit stew comes recommended. The restaurant is open for lunch and dinner from August until May, and is closed Wednesdays.
