Located a little ways outside of town and overlooking Lake Argentino, Pura Vida is a haven for vegetarians and those craving a change from the usual meat-centric Argentine fare. The restaurant serves up home-style dishes like pumpkin soup and hearty stews, as well as excellent pastas, sandwiches, and shakes. The menu isn’t exclusively vegetarian, though, here you can try the regional specialty, cazuela de cordero, a lamb and mushroom stew. Service is friendly and relaxed, and the colorful restaurant is a nice place to kick back while enjoying good food and a great view of the lake. Open Thursday - Tuesday, 7:30 - 11:30 p.m.
