The trail to Lago Toro, not to be confused with Laguna Torre, makes for a long, but relatively easy, hike. Starting at the signposted trailhead on the grounds of the national park headquarters, the path hugs the Río Tunel valley before crossing some hills and then descending into a forest. The Campamento Lago Toro is located in the woods, and you will have to spend the night there, but the lake itself is a bit further ahead and serves as a great viewpoint for Glacier Tunel.
