Laguna de los Tres is the destination of a rewarding 20-kilometer, two-day hike in Los Glaciares National Park. The hike starts at the northern end of Avenida San MartÃn, next to the sign for the Sendero Fitz Roy. The trail climbs through a boulder-strewn forest until it reaches Campamaneto Poincenot, where many trekkers choose to spend the night. You could also push on if it’s early enough in the day, and stop at Poincenot on the return leg. After leaving Poincenot, you must walk across a bridge over the RÃo Blanco, and then climb a steep moraine to Laguna de los Tres, where, across the glacier-blue water, you'll have a perfect view of Mount Fitz Roy.
