Estancia La Quinta is an old, converted ranch house nestled against the foothills of Fitz Roy and Cerro Torre. The hotel, still owned by the grand-daughter of the original pioneering family, retains its historic charm, but has been renovated with a fresh coat of soft yellow paint inside and out, and is surrounded by a lovely flower garden. While not fancy, the rooms are comfortable, and relaxing. One unique perks of La Quinta is their library, which boasts over 1,000 books on a variety of Patagonia themes. The estancia is open October through April.
