Meals at Restaurant Aónikenk Chaltén are a gastronomic event that won’t hit your wallet hard. Homemade pastas are prepared with interesting fillings like ricotta, nut and sweet pepper, and eggplant. Sauces are extra. Various types of milanesas are on the menu, too, including one made of soy “steak.” The specialties of the house, though, are lentils made with chorizo (sausage) and polenta con osobuco (grits with beef shanks). The thick steaks served here cover the plate. Fresh bread with delicious spreads, like blue cheese, accompanies each meal. Entrées from $5.70.
