What this hotel lacks in charm and character, it makes up for in location and consistency. Just a short walk from the restaurants and tourist agencies of the main thoroughfare, Kosten Aike Hotel is one of the biggest hotels in El Calafate, and offers guests all the basics (plus some extras) needed during their stay. Though somewhat conservative in décor, rooms are attractive, comfortable and clean, and come with large private bathrooms. In addition to a decent restaurant, wine bar, and a fireside lounge, the hotel also features a gym, spa, game room, and a 100-person convention room. The bilingual staff is friendly and helpful, and there is WiFi throughout the establishment. Two handicapped rooms are available. Breakfast is included in the price.
