Restaurant

By Meggan Rau

Ty Gywn, also a bed and breakfast, is the oldest active Welsh teahouse in Gaiman, and offers tasty homemade meals in a cozy yet elegant atmosphere. Compete tea service costs $6.30, and includes a variety of savory treats like sandwiches, scones, homemade cakes, jams, and of course, high-quality tea. Their torta negra, a spicy-sweet Welsh fruitcake, is rumored to be the best in town. The hospitable staff, who dress in traditional Welsh costume, provide excellent service.
