Situated in the Province of Tierra del Fuego – Argentina within the border of Chile and the City of Rio Grande stands this early 1900 farm and its outbuildings.
Mr. Jose Menedez says good-bye to one of his sons who was traveling to Australia to learn the new techniques of sheep production. This event took place in this “section” (with no name up to that moment) belonging to the estancia Primera Argentina and after it the section was given the name of “Despedida” (“Farewell“).

Price Description:At Estancia Despedida you can lodge in a house until recently used by our rural workers ( o employees) which has been recycled for touristic means and is now called " La Posada del Guanaco".
