Correntos Lake and River Hotel is a piece of Villa La Angostura history. The growth of the town was actually centered around the expansion of the hotel. Originally built by Don Primo, an important Italian pioneer, the more guests that desired to stay in the Correntoso the more wished to move and make Angostura their home. The majority of the spacious 27 rooms enjoy full views of the Andes and Lake Nahuel Huapi. The hotel is bordered by Correntoso River, the shortest river in the world, and the lapping waves of Huapi. The hotel has a full spa, pool and gourmet restaurant. Prices are higher than neighboring options due to ambiance and history.
