The Club de Pesca (Corrientes and Rio) is really a collection of restaurants clustered together on the riverfront. Derelict and rundown, some of the buildings look like they are about to topple into the river and none of them look like they could pass a food inspection. However the location is key, the food is authentic, delicious and cheap and the view of the local fisherman casting their lines off the broken down dock is perfect. Parillas (BBQ's), fish, salads, sandwiches and burgers are served up in abundance along with heaps of beer. To access the restaurants you must take an elevator down from the "upper" levels of Rosario, to the riverfront forty or fifty feet below. Take your pick of establishments, have a seat on a shaky peer and enjoy $3 meals and $2 liters of beer.
