Homey and clean, the Hostal de Areco offers rooms that are neat, if unexceptional. It features a large orange tiled sitting room with numerous red and green couches and chairs, a large fireplace, pink walls, and a décor that feels like an aunt’s house. Breakfast is served each morning in the sitting room, and friendly service makes up for the lack of air conditioning. Rooms have televisions and private bathrooms. Smoking is permitted in all rooms, but they don’t smell like smoke.
