All Restaurants in San Antonio De Areco

Areco holds far fewer restaurants than leather stores, but there are still a few good places to eat. The restaurants that are in town have their own character. Walking into one feels like a 19th century saloon, another exudes the atmosphere of a prairies general store, a third holds a crystal wineglass classy aura. There’s not much to be found outside of traditional Argentine specialties, but the parilla fare is, of course, phenomenal.

Areco is quiet at night, particularly on weekdays, when you won’t find anything to do after the sun sets. It’s stays tranquil and people tend not to go out as late as they do elsewhere. The streets can be dark and deserted, save for dirt bikes racing through downtown. There is activity on Fridays and Saturdays, when several bars have music and a few patios offer dancing. At the bars everyone mixes comfortably- country people, tourists, old and young alike.
