Horseback Riding

Location:
San Antonio De Areco, Argentina

Horseback Riding Types:
Riding at la cinacina

By Elizabeth Findell

If you’re not staying on an estancía, but still came to Areco to see life from a gaucho’s perspective, a horseback ride is an available option. La Cinacina estancía on the edge of town will take you trotting through the countryside or touring town by horseback. Up to 14 people can ride, and there is no age requirement, so use your own judgment when it comes to children. A guide always accompanies riders to help with horses and show off the area. So throw on your best hat and chaps for the real reason you came to the Argentine countryside.

Travel Tips: Times vary during the year according to light and heat, so contact La Cinacina for a reservation
