The San Martin is rumored to be the first hotel in Santa Rosa, and it is still well run and one of the cheapest options in town.
Opposite the old railway station and a short walk from the Plaza, the '20s style hotel offers clean rooms with oddly tall ceilings. Breakfast is served in a lovely bright atrium, which will be sure to wake you up. even if the coffee doesn’t.
