Getting To and Away
Purmamarca’s “bus terminal” is the block of Rivadavia between Florida and Libertad, just east of the plaza. After buying collectivo tickets from a tiny office, travelers await their buses on the sidewalk. The town is serviced by two collectivo companies that offer buses to towns throughout the province of Jujuy several times a day. For long-distance buses, travel to Tilcara or Jujuy and catch them there.
