Hotel

By Suzanne Russo

This mountain retreat is definitely reserved for those who want (and can afford) a special treat. The high prices, however, are worth every penny. The sunburnt adobe cabañas are cradled in a mountain of their same color, and outfitted with potbelly stoves, large modern kitchens, and luxurious bathrooms. Other amenities include direct TV and a Jacuzzi. If you aren’t a trekker, make sure you have a car; the one drawback (or major plus) to the location is that it is along the Paseo de los Colorados, literally a bit of a hike from town.

This Hotel is: Expensive
