Purmamarca has all the modern conveniences of a tourist destination, but in quantities proportionate to its size. Telecabinas can be found in a couple of convenience stores along the streets just outside of the plaza, but the one place with internet—on the bus stop block of Rivadavia—has only five computers, so expect a wait. The only cash machine is on Belgrano across from the plaza and just a block away is a small hospital. Next to the cash machine is a tiny tourist office with loads of helpful information. The friendly staff is on hand from 8 a.m until 8 p.m. (closed between 1 p.m. and 2 p.m.) on weekdays to give information on lodgings and tours.
