This hilltop hideaway may be a bit of a hike, but the peaceful silence, pretty landscape and stellar view are worth every extra step. Although you’ll feel like you’ve found your own secluded retreat, you’re still only a ten minute walk from Plaza Prado. Whether stone or wood, shared or private, the cabins are cozy, clean and come equipped with kitchens and outdoor seating. Throw in a breakfast that’s more than the usual bread and jam and a staff that treats you like family, your only problem will be that you don’t actually live here.

From the bus terminal, walk down Belgrano to the plaza. Turn left on Rivadavia, right on San Martin, and then follow San Martin up the hill.
