The Quebrada del Toro maintains comfortable temperatures year round, though the fog and high altitudes often make it a bit colder. Summer (December through March) is the rainy season, which may make driving difficult, especially visits to La Polvorilla Viaduct. When the Tren a las Nubes was running, it was closed during these months as well, open only from April through to November. For foliage followers, the ceibo flowers blossom their beautiful corral in October and November.
