Salta

Salta “the beautiful” is an attractive city that is currently experiencing a tourism boom.  The Argentine northwest is a popular visitor destination, and the colonial Salta is the perfect place to visit it from.  Founded in 1582, Salta retains much of its colonial architecture and has the best tourism infrastructure (hotels, travel agencies, etc.) in the region.
