The Juramento River is not far from Salta and a great place to raft, with beginner to intermediate rapids. Salta Rafting runs trips every day but Tuesdays. The $30 includes two hours of rafting plus an asado lunch, or for four people or more the price drops to $27 ($17 for children under12). Trips commence at 10 a.m., the company provides transportation, leaving Salta at 8 a.m., for an additional $14.
