This Hostelling-International affiliated youth hostel is a hefty walk—about 30 minutes from the main plaza. It is, however, hard to deny because hostel representatives sell it well from the bus station for arriving travelers. It is a very functional and well-run joint with ample dorm space, laundry and kitchen access, and travel information.
