Dating back to the 1970s, the hotel is definitely aging but functional nonetheless. The staff is professional as is the clientele, which is usually from the corporate world. The hotel has special corporate rates and rooms for conventions or meetings. You may not find as many travelers passing through here, but the hotel has connections to a tour operator, making it easy work to see of what Salta and the environs have to offer.
