So you say you’re tired of beef? Not every Argentine restaurant serves bife de chorizo, the choicest cut of meat. Madre Maiz serves very appetizing vegetarian dishes in a cozy atmosphere that will leave you just as satisfied as eating a huge T-bone. Madre also specializes in dishes that fit special diets such as for diabetics. Opens: 1200-1500, 2000-2300 Monday to Friday; until 2400 on Sat. Mains cost $4-10.
