Getting around
Taxis are everywhere in San Miguel de Tucumán (helping choke the congested streets), so finding one is no problem. Local buses run between the terminal and the center of town, but you have to buy a token at one of the corner kiosks to ride. There are a ton of places to rent a car: Avis (Tel: 0381 155616919) and Hertz (Tel: 0381 4264112) are both at the airport; Travel Rent a Car (San Lorenzo 370, Tel: 0810 3332763) and another Avis (24 de Setiembre 364, Tel: 0381 4267777) are situated around town.
