Quebrada de Humahuaca

Chances are travelers will never forget their first sight of Quebrada de Humahuaca. The impressive beauty of this gorge is constantly on display in national calendars and postcards for good reason: as the sun moves across the sky, it illuminates the different hues of the bright rock walls. The bottom of this valley begins slightly northwest of San Salvador de Jujuy and runs 125 kilometers (77.7 mi) north to Humahuaca. There are numerous day tours organized from Jujuy or Salta that allow photographers to take photos of Cerro de los Siete Colores.
