Getting To and Away

The bus station is just at the edge of town on Belgrano, a two minute walk from the center. A long row of windows designate bus companies and ticket sellers. Regional buses run daily and often to other towns in the Jujuy province, and long distance destinations include Salta to the south and La Quiaca to the north.

If you arrive at the Jujuy airport, it is a 126 km (78miles) drive to reach Humahuaca. a daily bus service can take you from the airport to the city.

By land, Humahuaca is 1500km (932 miles) from Buenos Aires. The access route is National route Nr 9.

You have also daily buses, from pretty much everywhere in Argentina, that take you to San Salvador de Jujuy. From there, take a bus to get to Humahuaca (runs everyday).
