Tilcara Things to See and Do

follow us

The main attraction in Tilcara is its all year long festivities. In January, several days are dedicated to culture and traditional festivities, followed in February by its annual carnaval and other celebrations until the end of the year. There are no more than six museums in Tilcara, exhibiting the work of Argentinan painters and sculptors. Local artisans sell their products at the city's market, visitors can shop for candies, ponchos, musical instruments, traditional clothes and more. Outside of the town, paragliding, horse riding and biking are the main activities proposed.
