Mid Range Hotels in Bariloche

+ Add a Photo

By Caroline Bennett

Accommodation options are seemingly endless both within Bariloche center and scattered along the lakefront in either direction, though rooms fill up fast during the high seasons, especially during the months of January and February when Argentineans escape the city heat and head for the lakes. Prices are also as much as double this time of year, for the best deals try to come between seasons when the crowds disperse but the weather is still pleasant.

Most budget accommodation is located in the center of town along San Martin and on the streets just north, so if you find yourself without a reservation and one place is full you can walk to the next in search of a bunk. More luxurious options with lake views and amenities can be found further along San Martin toward Bustillo, along Avenida J.M. de Rosas and for the first 15 kilometers of Avenida Bustillo. Lakeside camping is also available for a few pesos at several sites just outside of town.
