Butterfly the best in Patagonia
The service, food and place, make it a great restaurant, possibly the best in Argentina. Coni, Ed and Sebi nailed one of the best meals I've had in my whole life, better than many Michelin star European restaurants. Together they make a great team and I can only wish to go back as soon as possible.
My opinion
Visited south america and ws reccommend before i left uk to check this restaurant out if in the area whixh we did...we stayed in local hotel and ate 4 times in butterfly, my husband is irish so he was delighted to meet "ED" as he is called and his amazing partners coni and sebi...food was exceptional, views to die for and they just worked as an amazing team, always happy even under stress as they were very busy 3 of the nights...fortunately we had time to sit with them one night for few hours and drank the odd drop of superb wine!!! we really wish them well, they deserve to succeed. nmartin and caroline houlihan

I was touring South America and, in Mendoza, met some Americans who suggested we try Butterfly for dinner and that we would not be disappointed...we reserved table for 6 people and have to say it was wonderful, the quality of the food, decor, wine list and general atmosphere was fantastic...it was so obvious that ed, sebi and coni worked so much together as a team and we were delighted that after service they sat with us and offered us complimentary drinks...good craic and so nice to meet Irish people, while we were there friends of theirs from Ireland called and joined us for drink... the food was exceptional and we wish them continued success in their venture, they certainly deserve it...martin and caroline houlihan.
