Cerveceria Blest

A Bavarian-style tavern loaded with charm, this is the oldest and perhaps best beer brewer in all of Bariloche. Beers made on-premise comprise a pilsen, a bock, a half & half (pilsen and bock), a stout and a scotch ale. Half-pints run between $7.50 pesos and $8 pesos ($2.25 - $2.50US), with chopps available for between $9 pesos and $10 pesos ($3 - $3.30US). Pitchers are also available, costing 40 pesos ($13US). If you’d like to stick to traditional beers, they are available by the bottle. Food is also an option, including picadas ($10-25), pizzas ($6-11) and a plethora of German fare. Try the Spatzle con Goulash ($9) or a plate of German sausages, kraut and mashed potatoes ($11). When you visit, be sure to leave a signed coaster tacked to the wall. Visa, MasterCard and Amex are accepted.

Traveler Reviews of Cerveceria Blest

Blest is the Best

The only drawback to this place is that it is a bit far away from Bariloche. If you don't go by car, you have to take a bus that takes a long time and doesn't pass by often. Other than that, the beer is really good, the atmosphere is great and you really feel like you are in a European pub.

A Definite Tourist Hangout

I can't say I necessarily agree with the author that Blest offers the best brews in Bariloche. Out of the 20 or so different breweries, this is my least favorite. The beer is pretty good but the indulged tourist prices is not. This is where the tourists go because they don't know any better. You wouldn't catch a local dining here.
