Just another of many lodge-like eateries here, La Esquina offers a similarly styled menu as well, i.e. pizzas, sandwiches, etc. Perhaps that which sets this place apart is the service. In a town where tableside service can best be described as nearly nonexistent, the help here was attentive and friendly. If you wander in for breakfast try the waffles ($2.25 with dulce de leche) and wash it down with a café con leche ($1.75). For lunch and dinner it’s lomitos ($3-8) or carnes ($4 for milanesa, $9 for a medallon de lomo). Don’t be surprised if you hear a bit of Hootie and the Blowfish during your meal. If that’s not your cup of tea, at least you have a nice view of an attractive plaza outside to distract you.

The hamburger was HUGE... I mean HUGE!!!!! I loved it. It is very cheap for Brazilian people and for Europeans, Americans etc. There was a waitress that was gorgeous! Absolutely perfect. Similar to Anne Hathaway. In love with her!
Still, the food was decent and at a fair price for Bariloche.
