If low lighting and dark wood accents equal authentic Irish bar, then Wilkenny is as Irish as they come. Like any watering hole dedicated to the emerald isle, this one offers a wide variety of whiskeys, though cocktails and beers of all kinds are available for those less discerning about their drink. The bar even offers two beers of their own making ($5) – choose from brown or black – though they are not always available (also true for the Guinness). During the day this place is more Burren than Galway, but at night it comes alive with Argentine and foreign tourists.

dont go

very bad place, we saw a girl on her own get ripped off, then the same happened to us.basically happy hour only works on half pints not on pints, strange isnt, especially as it doesnt say anything on the poster.anyway we refused to pay, the bar staff and their friends surrounded us, one of them was even trying to provoke us, and then the police turned up who were completely on their side, they probably get a backhander i can imagine ripping off gringos if a regular occurance here, seeing as i was there for 2 hours and saw it happen twice! in short very horrible place and very horrible staff and its very expensive, 18 pesos a pint... the only reason we went was because it was happy hourdont go there

Nice place, but lacking

Maybe there were some supply problems, but only a fraction of the beers on the menu were available.
