Bariloche’s plentiful waters make for fantastic fishing late into April. Many organized lake and fly-fishing trips are available; knowledgeable guides guarantee a good catch.

Victor Katz’s trips come highly recommended, though at $90 for up to three people, the trips are on the pricey side. With Victor, you get what you pay for and if that means no fish, then you don’t pay!

Other outfits offer a range of trips from town. Also, if you have your own fishing gear, then purchase a $10 fishing license and head off on your own to the lakes. The lakes along the Ruta de los Siete Lagos provide popular spots for a likely catch.
