Jauja is Patagonia’s best choice for ice cream. All of the flavors are freshly made from local ingredients, and you can taste it. The establishment is a multiple0choice affair, with the ice cream parlor outside, an indoor chocolate store to the right and the main restaurant to the left. The dining part offers great Patagonian specialties like raviolis stuffed with trout and smoked meats and cheeses. Whether or not you choose to try their regular food, you should not leave El Bolsón without trying the ice cream. It is that delicious.
