There are two main tourist offices in Esquel, either is equally helpful. ACA, located on the corner of 25 de Mayo and Avenida Ameghino (telephone: 452383). ACA is actually a car insurance provider, a bit like AAA in the United States. They are located within the YPF gas station and are good for buying fishing licenses. The province supported tourist office is located on Avenida Alvear 1200 (telephone: 451927). They are open seven days a week, 7 am – 11 pm. They have English speaking attendants and offer friendly service.
