History of the Llao Llao Hotel

The Llao Llao Hotel's history resembles a Cinderella fairytale. Her royalty status, despite lofty beginnings, was shadowed and abused by people of power, until finally the day came that she was treated with the respect she deserved.
The Llao Llao Hotel was originally built in 1938. Hand crafted by architect Alejandro Bustillo, the hotel was a masterpiece of log and design construction. Fifteen years later the resort had a re-awakening and opened July 3, 1993, as the Llao Llao Hotel and Resort you know today.
