Nahuel Pan is 15 kilometers (9 miles) north of Esquel, off Ruta 40. The Old Patagonian Express (La Trochita) makes makes an excursion to Nahuel Pan once weekly in the low seasons and daily in the high (January to mid-March, July to August) (Adults $14.70, retirees and university students $10.30, children 6-12 years old $5.90, residents of Esquel $7.35). Remises and taxis can be hired in Esquel on Avenida Alvear ($12-15 for up to four passengers).
