Punto Panamericano - Other Activity Bariloche - Argentina

Punto Panorámico is one location that anyone visiting Bariloche must see at least once. This magnificent view is spectacular. It looks over lakes Moreno Oeste and Nahuel Huapi, Llao Llao Hotel, the Andes and towards Chile. It is truly a special spot. It can be a bit touristy, though. There is usually a line-up of local artisans selling their wares, sometimes including a choripan (chorizo hot dog) stand and St. Bernard photo op. During the day buses of tourists are brought to enjoy the scenery but they tend to clear out before sunset.

Getting There
Follow Bustillo around, past the Llao Llao Hotel. The road turns into Circuito Chico right after the hotel. Road will continue around to Punto Panamericano and eventually join Bustillo again.

Travel Tips: The crowds thin out before sunset, making this one of the best places to catch sundown.
