Art and History Museums - Museum Neuquén - Argentina

Art, history, architecture, and train enthusiasts will enjoy the four museums that occupy the renovated railway station in the center of the city. A national fine arts museum, a sculpture museum, a local art museum and a history museum provide insight into Argentine and Mapuche culture. Although the railroads throughout most of country deteriorated beyond repair, Neuquen preserved these old buildings that were built by British railroad companies in the 1930s, and then located the museums within them. Admission is free.
