Hike to Lago Rucachoroi - Hiking Lago Norquinco - Argentina

For your safety, be sure to register with the Park Rangers (guardaparque) before heading out on the trail so they know where you'll be hiking and when to expect you to check in at the next ranger station in Rucachoroi. Hiking conditions are safest during the summer (December – March) and can be dangerous when there is snow on the ground, which often blocks trail markings. The hike between Norquinco and Rucachoroi is a long day hike, so start early in the morning to make sure you have enough time because the park does not allow hikers to camp between the lakes. You can buy food at the small stores near both lakes. That way you won't need to weight your pack down with extra provisions. The same path can be completed on mountain bike.
